Stephen Robbins has a varied and unique background of ministry experience. He has served the body of Christ as an evangelist, missionary, church planter, and pastor both nationally and internationally, including nearly a decade of service as a missionary in the continent of Asia. His ministry has taken him from the inner cities of America to third world countries and most everything in between. Stephen emphasizes the need for a ministry that balances both grace and truth in serving others. Grace without truth leads to license, and truth without grace leads to harsh judgments, but grace and truth are needed for Christ like service (Jn. 1:14, 17). He believes expository preaching is the most important aspect of life in the church because it helps us to understand the meaning of the Biblical text, which shapes our entire worldview and affects what kind of people we will be in our daily lives as Christ followers.
Stephen is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Church Ministries, and he completed his master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Other than serving in the ministry, Stephen enjoys being with his family and friends, hiking outdoors, playing with his German Shepherds, and snowmobiling in the winter. He is also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
